Office Consultations

Appointments are available in person at the practice’s Newport office. Office based consultations may be preferred by clients who value face to face support. A dedicated parking space is available behind the clinic with a rear entry offering convenient, flat and private access; clients may also enter via the front of the building.

Telehealth

Telehealth appointments provide flexible access to psychological therapy from the comfort of your own home, workplace, boat, or other private space. Sessions are conducted securely via video or phone, allowing you to receive support regardless of location or mobility, while maintaining the same quality of care as in-person appointments.

Walk and Talk/ Eco Therapy

Walk and Talk or eco-therapy sessions provide an alternative to traditional office appointments, allowing therapy to take place outdoors. Research supports time spent in nature and regular movement plays an important role in supporting overall health and well-being. Additionally, the side-by-side format can feel less confrontational than face-to-face sessions, helping clients feel more relaxed and at ease. This approach can also be particularly beneficial for addressing certain phobias. A brief telehealth session is required beforehand to complete a safety assessment.

In home consultations

In-home consultations provide psychological support in the comfort and familiarity of your own home. This approach can be particularly helpful for clients with mobility challenges, disability, anxiety, or other health concerns that make leaving home difficult. Sessions focus on your therapeutic goals while providing a safe, supportive, and convenient environment for therapy. Please note a brief telehealth session is required to complete a safety assessment before home therapy can begin. If this is not possible, a GP referral or similar documentation confirming suitability and safety will suffice.
